The annual staff took a poll of six homerooms, two from each grade, and had the students answer fifteen questions to get a feel of the likes and dislikes of Hueytown High School students today. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER GRADUATION? Over two-thirds of you chose college. Other answers included finding a job, getting married, and partying until no tomorrow. WHAT ARE YOUR CAREER GOALS? Although most of you are undecided, the medical field, business administration, and law made a good showing. WHATIS YOUR FAVORITE SINGING GROUP? Despite the fact the answers to this question were numerous, Whitesnake was the winner with Bon Jovi close on their heels. Others mentioned where Prince and the Revolution, Stryper, L. L. Cool J., and the Beach Boys. WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE SOLO ARTIST? Whitney Houston, no doubt. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE TELEVISION SHOW? The Cosby Show was number one, with Alf bringing up a close second. Family Ties and Growing Pains were popular also. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE HOBBY? Reading was number one. Playing musical instruments, water skiing, and basketball showed well also. WHO IS THE BEST LOOKING MAN OR WOMAN, DEPENDING UPON YOUR PREFERENCE? For the men Tom Cruise is top gun. Bon Jovi ran a fairly close second. For the women Christie Brinkley was it. Janet Jackson and Heather Locklear placed well also. WHA T'S YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE EVER? Top Gun is tops. Nightmare on Elm Street fyou sickosl tied with The Color Purple for second. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ATTRACTIVE? An overwhelming two-thirds of you do think you are attractive. Ipoor sapsl WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE CAR? The Camaro is the number one choice with the Porsche pulling a close second. Some of our flashy classmates chose the Ferrari and the Lamborghini, while the preppier of us chose the BMW. WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE TEACHER AT HUEYTOWN HIGH? Get out from behind that tie Mr. Dennis, you're our favorite. Mr. Cashatt, Mrs. Knight, Mrs. Lee, Mrs. Blackwell, Coach Nipper, Mr. Hall, and Mr. Miller are some other favorites. WHA T'S YOUR FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE CLASS? The very favorite class at Hueytown High School in the 1987-88 session is lunch. English ran a very close second. The least favorite is science. WHA T'S YOUR FAVORITE FOOD? Pizza ran away with it. Mexican and seafood tied for second. DO YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AND THE LORD? Amen. WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE CELEBRITY EVER? Tom Cruise and Eddie Murphy are at the top.
