captain of our footuall team This year we had a fine basketball team -Three members of our class—Louise Watkins, Faye Brown, and Bobby Elmore—appeared on the Junior Town Meeting of The Air broadcast. V e had a Christmas party in the auditorium which was enjoyed by all who attended. Returning from our Christinas holidays we found that two girls from our class, Doris Trenor and Faye Brown, had married. After pulling through our examinations we were busy working on the Annual and getting ready for Stunt Night. Tom Adams decided it would be more fun and more profitable to go to work for the T. C. I. Bob Walker was elected vice-president to fill the vacancy left by Tom. In our Who's Who election, Floyd Oober and Virginia Causey were voted the most popular boy and girl. Members of our class who belonged to the Honor Society this year were Lewis Eberdt, Hazel McDonald, Faye Brown Hardy, Sherry Huey, Billy Brown, Ann Kemp, Bobbie Dykes, Vera Smith, Louise Watkins, Elizabeth Edwards, Dorothy Salters, Bobby Elmore, Patty Eerrinfr, Annetts Bailey, and Howard Ballew. On February 20, the Honor Society held its banquet at Mary Beard's. And now, Friends, as we, the Orsduating Class of Nineteen Hundred Forty-eight, stand on the brink of the great unknown, we go forth with happy hearts to begin a new chapter in our lives. Weldon Tayne
