Students Learn By Being Invelved COURSE INVOLVEMENT . . . to be- gin with, it's the homework . . . the scheduling -- Mr. Luedtke! good news -- I only have TWO conflicts this semester . . . Mr. Ronning, NO dig is complete without hard hats! . . remember the mock convention? . . how on earth does Mrs. Qualls expect me to plan three meals on a measly two dollars? . . for the teachers it means: reorganization and re-evalua- tion of all course offerings . . . it's too bad that tree was in the way Mr. Ewing, but console yourself with two things: first, everyone else enjoyed the ski trip, and secondly, you can STILL collect collision insurance! . . watch out everybody -- the Health Careers class is administering the Mantoux test today . . . Crownie? it isn't really true, is it, that everyone who takes Plant Biology develops green thumbs? . . it's participation -- in a group or indi- vidually . . . yes Mr. Gustafson, I LIKE Oriental Lit., but last time we did yoga I limped for a week! . . gee Dad! you should feel HONORED that my Small Engines class wants to use our lawn mower at ALL, after the way you hollered at us when we fixed the car! . . a student’s favorite class? study hall, of course! . . COURSE INVOLVEMENT. 1. Ann O'Brien works hard to complete her weaving in Art. 2. Sandy Rozeski concentrates while trying Yoga in Oriental Literature. 3. Jamie Grunke takes a break from the Culture's dig. 4. Rolf Halvorson tries to out- wit the computer in Computer Math. 5. John Beer plots a pattern for his woodworking project. 6. Miss Noreen instructs her Phy. Ed. class on how to hit the bulls eye. 7. Lewis Smothers drafts a house plan. Course Involvement 18
