Being too involved led to Brad Ander- son's injury. 3. Julie Weinberg plays bumper cars with Gus's car. 4. Sandy Drumm displays her in- jury she got from being too in- volved. 5. Too Involved 17 Students Learn By Being Invelved COURSE INVOLVEMENT . . . to be- gin with, it's the homework . . . the scheduling -- Mr. Luedtke! good news -- I only have TWO conflicts this semester . . . Mr. Ronning, NO dig is complete without hard hats! . . remember the mock convention? . . how on earth does Mrs. Qualls expect me to plan three meals on a measly two dollars? . . for the teachers it means: reorganization and re-evalua- tion of all course offerings . . . it's too bad that tree was in the way Mr. Ewing, but console yourself with two things: first, everyone else enjoyed the ski trip, and secondly, you can STILL collect collision insurance! . . watch out everybody -- the Health Careers class is administering the Mantoux test today . . . Course Involvement 18 Course Involvement 19 Community Proves Vital To ICS Crosvth COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. . . students aren't the only ones who can get involved--the commu- nity lends it's support and partici- pates, too! . . the North Hudson Pepper Fest--Vince Cardarelli named official godfather for 76- 77 and three HHS students reigned as Pepper Queen and princesses. . . Com Feed Days. . . the Plaza 94 and downtown area businesses pro- vide financial assistance for many of the extra-curricular activities . . . remember the pancake break- fast? everyone chowed down! . . Student Council did a lot to further student community relations. . . attention all Senior girls: your Lane hope chests have arrived. . . crowd participation. . . Snoball goes Hawaiian and three HHS seniors emerged as Hudson royalty . . . parents had fun while travel- ling to athetic events on the Reno- vated Raider bus. . . the business community provides jobs for many high school students. . . guest peakers lecture to classes. . . the school is part of the community too. . . COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. 1. The fans watch the Homecoming football game with anticipation. 2. Rick Peper and his sister enjoy their pancake breakfast at Sno- Daze. 3. Sharon, I just can't take it any more! I've TRIED to be patient, and Mrs. Beauchamp has worked with him for hours, but after last night's per- formance I refuse to dance with him any more [--there we were in front of all those people, finishing the dance routine with the bump--wouldn’t you know Billy just had to be the star and give an extra bump! he bumped me right off the stage and now I'm on crutches for three weeks: . . a trip to H. I don't know, Mrs. Carlson, we were still working on the grass and she’d already moved up to the clouds!--the next thing I knew she was calling for help-- the sky is falling! . . . print- making, pottery, calligraphy, clay, color, and composition. . . ART. 1. Julie Delton finished work on life-size painting. 2. The art display case is filled with tapestries from the first semester Fibers class. 3. Shirley Miller waters a still life display. 4. A wide variety of color- ful oil paintings add much to the Art room walls. 5. Art students display their many talents.
