She has been an excellent student, has been a leader in school activities as shown by the fact that she was elected all school vice president, and was selected editor of the True Blue. She has participated in musical, dramatic, athletic, and journalistic activities. Audrey has been a loyal sup- porter of the finest ideals of the student body of Hudson High School, and the faculty is pleased to present the award to this deserving student.

Miss Ethel Mathews AVING so many things to see and learn in the class rooms as well as new organizations to join, made our first year the hardest, but we managed splendid- ly with Eugene Benedict as president and Mrs. King, adviser. The main social event of the year was the senior-freshman dance in September. During our sophomore year we chose Miss Mathews for our adviser and elected Merl Penman president. With Jack St. Ores as president we sixty juniors began our year with Eugene Benedict, Richard I-amkin, George Richie. Donald Ward. Richard Cronk. Leslie Lind- strom, Robert Penman, and James Wallace as prominent members of the football squad. At the banquet the boys received their let- ters, also Richard Lamkin was presented as next year’s captain. In basketball Rich- ard Cronk was the only “A” team player, but several others participated in intramural games. Jack St. ()res, Mere Penman, Ken- neth Christensen. Clayton Chryst, Oliver Lyksett, Darrel Luebke, William Loughney. Leslie Lindstrom, Richard Lamkin. George Richie, Donovan Persell, Gordon Wilcox. Anthony Zapj a. John Bowers, and Bruce Bergman were our pugilists. Turning from the field of s]X)rts, Evelyn Ryan is our soprano soloist, and Marion Hope, the dramatist. As socialites the prom proved our ability to prepare for a party as well as attend one.
