Edith Berkner - Sponsor ,National junior Honor Society Activities ofthe chapter are supervised by a teacher sponsor and a Faculty Council of four other teachers. The Honor Society meets regularly at the end of each grade period. The sponsor and the officers ofthe chapter form the Executive Committee and carry on the business of the chapter between meetings. The primary purpose of the society is to promote scholarship, character, leadership, service and citizenship in the school. Other activities include selling ice cream after school each day, selling locks and workbooks, and sponsoring the collection of filler bands for school prizes. With the money raised by these activities, the group undertakes one or more school projects each year.
