Front row: Marvin Whorton, Dan Martin, Michael Burch, Stanley Green, Vernon McWilliams. The House Cowboys played twenty-seven games during the season of l9b9-50. They won seventeen and lost ten. They received the consolation trophy at the district tournament. Carroll Freeman was high point man of the season with a total of 312 points to his credit. We are looking forward to a better season next year with several returning lettermen back, plus a promising Freshmen squad. Front row: Ann Powell, Wilma Della Mae Gates, Blackburn, Helen Shipley. These are the girls that made up the basketball team of 'L9-'5O. Of the five scheduled games played, none were y won by House. A With nine returning lettermen back next year, we are hoping for a more successful season. With hard work and lots of practice, they will be among the best. we wish to thank the House Community for the manner in which they have supported the team, and also the spectators for good sportsmanship shown at all our home games
