Twenty-six students from Thermopolis took part in memorized, serious and humorous readings, panels, original speeches, oral interpretations, a play and a verse choir. The arena play, The Man in the Bowler Hat, was rated Superior. The verse choir received a Superior rating on The Congo. The twelve towns participating were: Greybull, Dubois, Ten Sleep, Powell, Cody, Lovell, Lander Meeteetse, Worland, Cowley and Thermopolis. ALL DISTRICT BAND AND ALL DISTRICT CHORUS was composed of the students with superior playing and singing ability, thier service to the group and their attitudes. This year the various meeting places were: Morton, Worland, and Thermopolis, with the music festival held in Lander. The purpose of All- District Band and Chorus is to give the outstanding students the chance to play and sing more difficult music with a chosen group.
