GEORGE Cucounxxor Adviser The Three Mummers began a very active year by taking in new members from the Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Classes. These people were taken in not only for their interest in acting but also for their interest and ability in back stage work. Two main events constituted the activities of the club during the first semester. The Three Mummers had the advantage of working with James Hendrickson and Company in presenting Merchant of Venice and Macbeth on the Hornell High School stage. The club also presented The Greatest Gift as its annual Christmas play. The play was Well received at each of ive different performances. The Three Mummers added one new set of lighting fixtures to the equipment already owned. As part of our Spring program we hope to offer one assembly play and to entertain as speakers several people who are acquainted with the present day theater. 1 Page Twen ty-eight
