 AFS IS EYE TO EYE UNDERSTANDING FIVE FOREIGN STUDENTS lived with Warrior families this year, representing a smattering of nationalities from around the world. And AFS'ers were kept busy with their guests, while at the same time supporting Don Pavelka in Brazil and Beth Brown in Argentina. Another ambassador from Hopkins was Mary Hoidal who spent the summer in France. After getting into the swing of things with a homecoming float. AFS'ers sponsored a pancake breakfast where everyone had their fill, and an AFS Roundup which brought other foreign students in the area to Hopkins for the weekend. They also participated in an AFS Mardi Gras at the University. The students from across the seas this year were: Julie Picot from New Zealand. Tony Putulin from the Philippines, and Zelalem Endeshaw from Ethopia.
