Mr. Les Snyder checks out candy to homeroom representatives. Candy sales were sponsored by the Student Council as a fund raising and service project. Part of the profit was given to the American Diabetic Society Jon Gaines, Scott Emel, and Valerie Mackey admire the Student Council display in the social area. The gavel is a gift to Hoover from Jim Burgess, president 1965-66. which was presented to him for being Intra-city Student Council president. Herbie Hawk is our school mascot. The O letter is given to Hoover's outstanding athletes. The trophy was presented to Hoover's wrestling team for taking second place at the Classen tournament in 1965.
