LIBRARY STAFF The library is under the full-time guidance of Mrs. Hammack, who selects twenty-five student-librarians to assist her in the work of the library. It is the chief aim of the library to present an efficient service to the student body and faculty by providing for authoritative, factual, and leisure reading. The Commercial Club's chief aim is i to present the business world to these students through their classes and club activities. STUDE T COUNCIL The Student Council is a very young organization. The representatives are elected by their classmates. Under the able supervision of Mr. Hoffer, transpor- tation to the out-of-town football and basketball games was furnished for the students. They select the monitors on the basis of their capability and de- pendability, to maintain order in the halls. Q monthly meetings of the Canton Council This year our umor Red Cross IS packing a giant gift box in conjunction with all the schools in the Canton area With Mrs Oswald as our competent adviser, we hope that we may fulfill our purpose of sharing with others and giving them help when they need it projects, they experimented with white mice and their living habits This to say the least, created quite an atmosphere The death and burial of one of the mice also added an air of interest to the rooms surrounding the Science laboratory Their other experiments proved very interesting and valuable to the members Mr LaHue and Mr Dobson advise the club FIRST ROW fleft to rightj: S.
