TRACHSEL Stage Manager: MISS SCI-ILEPPI ACT I-FRESHMAN YEAR The Sophomores give the Class of '43 a big send-off into high school life with an initiation party. The struggle in doing some real work in math, science, and Latin. Many of us for the first time, experience the agonies of scholarship tests. ACT II-SOPHOMORE YEAR Our turn is here, as we put the new Freshmen over the hurdles. Mr. Israel acquires many gray hairs from his Sophomore honor QQ study hall. A few of our boys get in on varsity sports, but all show promise of being future varsity stars. ACT III-JUNIOR YEAR Our varsity footballers show their stuff, when they make No-Ca-Hi county champs. Many of our class members take part in the winning of the grand prize by the band in the Defense Bond Contest. Our first dramatic effort, which gave us a chance to show off our Barrymores, was The Nut Farm. Our first Jr.-Sr. Prom and what a spread! We gave the Seniors the smoothest orchestra and food this side of heaven. ACT IV-SENIOR YEAR All of us climb in our Sunday suits and get our pictures taken. Those, along with the other senior customs, keep us busy. Our basketball team, composed ,almost entirely of senior members, playing for the first time in Class A, runs up an impressive record. The Juniors give us Seniors our final farewell with a Prom. We get our diplomas with all the pomp of graduation for which we have waited for twelve years. Our boys graduate from one class to Class 1-A.
