Varsity The big change to fourteen cheer- leaders instead of the traditional eight was to support not only football and basket- ball, but to also give attention to the much deserving minor sports. The cheerleaders led the rooting section in many cheers to make the rowdy rooters the loudest and most spirited cheering section around.
