Under the fine coaching of Bob Gray, the girls managed to capture second place in the N.Y.L. Tour- nament. They showed that Pate Pride and skill were key formulas for another suc- cessful season. Their great sense of determination and well- put effort led them to a winning season this year. The team received fine performances from guards Leslie Kokx and Ashlyn Lujano, who were also leading scorers for the Pates. With the team working together, Coach Domingo's l.V. Pates finished 10-4 over all. They should be a great asset to next year's varsity team.
