At the time of this writing, they were undefeated, a great accom- plishment tor anyone. The girls played against good, hard teams, not to mention in the rain and mud. The coach was Tom Metry, obviously someone who knows what he's doing. Hopefully he'll be back next year, with some of this year's players. Pre season predictions had Hoover in the cellar of the NYL race, but instead of the cellar Hoover was struggling at the 'top Hoover proved to everyone that they can beat anyone no matter how big! This year's Varsity Basketball team: was really good. Not only did they have talented starters, but also exceptional stand in's.
