F Hola, Bon Jour, Ni How Ma So wordly. The National Spanish Honor Society and the French Honor Society enable students who excel in either of these languages to experience the culture of these countries. The major event of the French Honor Society is the initiation which is brought to an end with the lighting of candles by all members. The National Spanish Honor Society visited a folk art display at a Mexican museum in San Francisco. They also viewed a flamenco dance exhibition. So welcome. The Chinese American Student Association is open to all students. They remembered the teachers on Chinese New Year by giving them traditional red money envelopes. They also participated in a volleyball tournement. Each of these clubs offers a great way to get a taste of different cultures without ever leaving the country. Junior Cynthia Lin, seniors Gloria Lin and Andy Lee take advantage of Club Day to round up some new members.
