Foreign Flair H' The Spanish, French, and German club lpick the one that applies to youl, is open to anyone interested at Homestead. The club meets about twice a month to discuss activities, such as candy sales or watching a foreign flick. While these clubs are all trying to let students understand other cultures a little better, they also let you have fun and make new friends. These clubs are of different back- grounds, but they enjoy many of the same things. They partake inthe cuisine of their respective country, watch movies, and test their skill at trying to Listening raptly, German Club members Nancy Jones, Markus Kraiewski, Anna Stotsky, and Olga Stotslqr visit the Goethe lnsitute in San Francisco. Through these clubs the students are being more attune to their surroundings. Mem- bers will hopefully be able to bridge the gap between countries, or at least understand where other people are coming from. speak the language of the country.
