Eteka Huckaby, Senior Steve Hiddleson looks on Sean Dawkins, Matt Bokemeier, Mike Dalessandro. Jeff Wong, while teammate senior Jeff Paul Abe, Todd Chronert. LeBoss shoots for a basket. Shoot for Two This yearthe Varsity Boys Basketball team had a good season although the season winfloss record doesn't indicate this. Although the Mustangs started out very promising, there were problems with putting together a win. Seniors Matt Schmeig and Jeff LeBoss werethis seasons stars. Matt Schmeig the tallest on the team played centerwith Jeff LeBoss as forward. The team often brought Homestead back at the half. but not auite enough fora win. All theirgames were fun and exciting to watch with many close endings. The Mustangs didn't lack spirit or stamina, but something was holding them down. Hopefully in 87- 88 Homestead will find the missing element. Two players who were very promising were juniors Lance Goodman and Greg Fujii. Lance Goodman made some incredible shots. Greg Fujii added a lot to the team and seems to be one of the valuable players for next year. Junior Varsity also had a season of ups and downs.
