These words could always be heard as the band marched onto the field to perform a perfected halftime show. Through rain mud and mess the band rehearses two hours a day, five days a week during football season. The highstepping Homestead High School marching band had a great year under the direction of Mr. Du Wayne Donithorne. The 96 member band was honored when Moffet Field asked them to perform at one of their football games. They were also invited to various band days. The band continues on after football season, they bread down into a pep band and a concert band. The concert band performs a pops concert and a spring concert.
