Alumni There were fourteen members in the graduating class of '53, They were as follows: Bonnie Barnett, Lloyd Bates, Colleen Bqugou5,Dorothy Georgesen, Betty Heath, Bonnie Jean Heck, Patricia Hedrick, Stanley Jensen, Douglas King, Joyce Krumwiede, Phyllis Rohde, RogerSpencer, Melvin Stockton, and Mmcine Trimble. Bonhie Bamett is now happily married to Roger Spencer. She is working in the Dakota County Court House. At the present time they are living at Roger's parents' home. Lloyd Bates isn't married yet., He is living at home and helping his parents. From what l hear, he is getting along fine with the girls in South Sioux City too. Colleen Baugous is teaching school. She decided to go to Wayne last summer md make teaching a profession. She is living at home. Dorothy Georgesen also decided to be a teacher and went to college last summer. She is staying at home except when the weather gets bad. Betty Heath is married to Robert Hank. He is in the army and she is living with him in North Carolina where he is stationed. Bonnie Jean Heck is still single but it doesn't look like it will last long. She is working at the Dakota County Court House and living at home. Patricia Hedrick is married to James Huggenberger. They are living in South Sioux City and they now have a little boy. Stanley Jensen is going to college at the University of Nebraska. He doesn't come home very often so I know very little about his activities at the present. Douglas King is working at Cudahy's for the time being. He's had several iobs since graduation md been to Califomia for awhile. As myvhe could guess, he's not married. Joyce Krumwiede is, as everybody expected, married to Duane Jenkins. They are living on a farm and every- thing points to a happy marriage. Phyllis Rohde went to Wayne last summer and is teaching school. She is living at home. She isn't married but is having a time. Roger Spencer, as you already know, is married to Bonnie Bamett. He is working at Chesterman's in Sioux City. I guess he has about all that he would ever have asked for. Melvin Stockton is living at home. He has had a couple of iobs but at present doesn't have any. He is leaving for the navy on April l. Maxine Trimble is living at home. She is working at Younker's at present but is going to work in the Dakota County Court House in the near future. She isn't married either. lt with
