HE COLOR SEEN most often in the stained glass window in every hue imaginable, is also the color exemplifying the spirit and feeling of our school activities. From azure to indigo, Mary's blue has an important part in every phase of the school life-Achillean, Excalibur, Sodality, Glee Club and Mission Society. A rich vibrant blue gives depth and color to lVlary's special charge, the Sodality. In like man- ner, each activity gains significance from a similar sharing in a spirit of dedication to Our Heavenly Mother.

A day of recollection, preparing for their reception, occupies these sopho- mores as they talk with Rev. James English, SJ., who conducted the exer- cises, l. to r.: Martin Delaney, Marie Malvaso, Father English, Monica Bryla, Thomas Hogan, Richard Bryla. Their solemn reception into the Sodal- ity of Our Lady brings these Holy Family students to the altar rail, where they recite the Act of Consecration. Kneeling, l. to r.: M. Iacovino, R. Bryla, K. This year's Sodality program has laid the principal emphasis on the spiritual formation of the members. Each meeting centers on rho discussion of some scene from the life of Christ. To imitate and apply Chrisfs example in their own lives is the aim of earnest followers of Our Lady. Each month, the Sodalists gather in church for a Holy Hour. Conducted in association with C. Y. A.-Catholic Youth Adoration-the hour of adoration is part of a nation- wide plan to honor Christ and acknowledge Him as King and Leader. ln these and other ways, Sodalists honor Jesus and Mary and advance spiritually.
