40: anilecf in The Sodality of Our Lady provides an opportunity for all Holy Family students to devote themselves seriously to self-sanctification and service of the Church. Divided into sections this year according to classes, the Sodalists carried on a program of individual improvement and apostolic worlc based on the Sodality motto To Jesus Through Mary. The zealous efforts of Father Davie. S. M. Julia, S. M. Constance, S. M. Carmella and S. M. Jonatha guided the sodalists throughout the year. au 1 The S. S. C. meetings aren't too dull, are they? Hardly anyone, picking up a copy of the ACHILLEAN, ever stops to think how much work is done before the finished product can be proudly displayed by the staff. Copy writers busily cutl' their work to an assigned word length, staff artists spend many long hours with pencil and pen, and correctors place the captions accurately on each page lay-out. H. Ffs ACHILLEAN, under the direction of S. M. Cyprian, faculty advisor, has always at- tained a high rating in nation-wide judging con- tests. Without the loyal efforts of the business staff in raising money, the editorial group would never have seen the realization of their efforts to publish an outstanding issue of the yearbook. Cooperation spells success for this endeavor, as for all other student activities. The Class of '53 sincerely thanks all who have made this publica- tion possible and, we like to feel, successful.
