Crack? Eadg ancers . ber Eileen Finnan had to say about the 1984- 1985 team. The Girls' Track Team was able to finish the season with a 6-2 record - a super accomplishment. Victory came early in the season as the girls won the George Rowlands Relays. The team was then off and and running to win the South Jersey Parochial A. Championship. At this meet, Diane Lorenz took both the 1600 and the 3200 while Pam Accor was the victor in the 800, both broke pre- vious school records. All of the girls did their very best through hard work and determination - making their season one of the best. Uarsitg Crack Breaks Ptwag this year may best be expressed in one member s opinion- It was awesome! . The Lancers proved this with their 6-2 winning record and by cap- turing the South Jersey Parochial Title from Paul VI. The general feeling among the runners is that the team did exceptionally well. Special recognition goes to members of the Weight Team, particularily Eric Schoenborn who broke the Holy Cross javelin record. Those who seem to be prime factors next season are Vince Labosky Qjavelinj, Mike Murphy Qhurdlerj, and .lim Horsley thigh jumperj. Because the team strived hard together, success and victory were theirs in the many meets they competed in. he success of the Holy Cross Boyis Track Team Upper Right: Getting off to a fast start.
