rls Cross Countrg Sprints nder the coaching of Mr. Mike -l Gould, captains Diane Lorenz and Margie Devine led the Girls' Cross Country Team to a bolting finish - complet- ing the season with a 6-2 record. Though the team gained much recognition through- out the year, being runner - up in both the Burlington County Open and the South Jersey Parochials tended to stand out im- mensely! The highlight for the runners was placing third in the State Parochial Meet, this made the girls the only team from Burl- ington County able to qualify in the State Meet of Champions. Diane Lorenz, Margie Devine, Pam Accor, Eileen Finnan, Joanne Nocito, Mary Jo Austin, and Beth Purul were all privileged in being able to compete in this competition.
