. ancers for Life consists of stu- dents who have strong convic- tions against all forms of life destruction such as abortion, eutha- nasia, and infanticide. The club's main purpose is to help prevent abor- tion - on - demand through prayer, educating fellow students, and raising money for institutions such as Birth- right. The club's main activities occurred during the National Respect Life Week in October. Molds of a develop- ing baby were placed in the main of- fice display case. A raffle for a Cab- bage Patch Kid was also held. Lanc- ers for Life will stand as long as some students are dedicated to stop this problem in our country. The year started with a Clothes Drive to aid the less fortunate in San Salva- dor - a big success because of its im- portance. We also held our annual Christmas Party for underprivileged children in which study halls raised money for their adopted children. Through these activities which have aided the community, we were able to fulfill the motto of our club which is based on - Hservice above self .
