NA , - he night of Saturday, November 9th, came alive as many attended the traditional Homecoming Dance at Holy Cross. All felt electricity in the air as the school gymnasium was transformed into a place of colored balloons, fragrant flowers, and pulsat- ing music. It was a night of celebration: the victory over Rancocas Valley by the Varsity Football Team put everyone in a festive mood. The hour had come to award the sought after Spirit Stick to the class with the most points. Cries ofjoy echoed throughout the room as the Senior Class was declared winners of not only the Spirit Stick, but also the Float Award. The night was also one of recognition as MVP awards were presented to those outstanding athletes - Soccer: Donna Hartwell and Joe Otto: Cross-Country: Diane Lorenz and Eric Lorenz: Football: .lon Yearly: and Field Hockey: Tracy Tamaccio. The night then came to a climax with the crowning of the l985 Homecoming King and Queen: Tim McWilliams and Santa Pizzigoniwere rightfully chosen. As the crowd diminished and the lights faded away, all took with them the lasting memories of an- other successful dance - Homecoming ,85. 136 .A V
