These serve as valuable supplements to their respective courses. The biology, chemistry and physics clubs are the scientific organizations offered. Attending the meetings are eager students Who, through familiar methods of experimentation and ob- servation, explore the unlimited possibilities of science. Investigations of complex math programs and intriguing puzles are of primary interest in the math meetings. .Synirif jfouriakea af Iealaife mn ear! .szaaon Despite their great efforts and those of Coach Tom Kolongowski, the Varsity Lancers went un- willingly to defeat throughout the season. Again this year Camden Catholic and Notre Dame proved to be our greatest rivals. The Jayvees and freshmen demonstrated their eagerness to win - the jayvees winning two of their six games, the Frosh, of their four games, winning two and tying two. Although our Varsity record 0-7 looks poor and unimpressive, our spirit and determination could not have been matched. Complementing the eagerness of the teams was that of the newly- formed pep squad, the marching band, the cheer- leaders and the fans. The past season saw the contribution of three of our men to the 1962 All-Diocesan Team: Ed- ward Malone, Dennis Korrot, and Charles De- vine, the latter also having been chosen to parti- cipate in the All-County Scholastic Team.
