All students in- terested in religious life may benefit from group discussions and talks presented by guest speakers. Literature on religious communities also ac- quaints students With the varied aspects of reli- gious life. An important school project is the raising of funds and collection of stamps for Catholic mis- sions. Proceeds from the Faculty-Varsity game, the sale of St. Patrick's Day carnations, and the personal Lenten self-denial folders helped to swell these funds and thus rate Holy Cross among the top diocesan contributors to the Propagation of the Faith.

Yflnihnrma gfigkfen 7!WarcLing gancljs performance The Holy Cross Band, consisting of thirty members and three color guards, made its first appearance on October 21 as a marching unit. The introduction of maroon and gray uniforms also highlighted this performance. From that day on, the band strengthened our school spirit with its exciting presentations on the football field. The band also provided musical entertain- ment during the Christmas and Spring programs sponsored by the Music Department. A few experienced members accompanied the chorus during the operetta and likewise supplied the music and part of the sound effects for our pep rallies.
