Through the help of their moderator, the participants acquire an understanding of the general principles of home nursing and are instructed in their proper application. For those possibly interested in a teaching career, there now exists a Future Teachers of America Club. At present this club is open only to seniors. Members discuss the varying philoso- phies of education and the problems in student- teacher relations, emphasizing especially the many responsibilities of the latter. MRS. DOROTHY McDADE makes sure 'thai' Future Nurses of America, Mar- cella Lung and Katy Woll- schlager learn the funda- mentals of their chosen career as she explains the correct reading of the ther- momeier. TAKING A BREAK during dress rehearsal, Mark Baiacla, Joan Bollinger, Gene McLaughlin, Bob Martinez, and John Labadie recall a few hilarous incidents. gee CAL, .14 Cafalaeffa .gfage igztclenf prince, Glee Club members have both developed their musical talents and shown their eagerness to perform at school functions. With the intro- duction of activity periods, students have been better able through additional practice, to per- fect their skills. A select group, the A Cappella, distinguishes itself by performing without in- strumental accompaniment. Together, these two groups present the an- nual Christmas program for the student body SENIOR CHORUS - First Row: Donna Donovan, Kathleen Herron, Kathleen Bradley, Donna Adams, Natalie Hamilton, Nancy Feeney: Second Row: Joel Brink, Donna Wille, Elaine and again for the P.T.A. In February, a light operetta, The Student Prince, given through the combined efforts of both of these singing groups, the band, and the Art Department, proved a great success. Besides offering entertainment to the student body and friends, members of the 'Glee Club and A Cappella likewise benefit per- sonally by combining hard work and coopera- tion to present a major production.
