WJJ5 ,4J0,gf5 juror Syrian., laonaora ouncif .fdfidemgfy The Saint Thomas Aquinas Chapter of the National Honor Society, with its present mem- bership of twenty-eight seniors and fifteen jun- iors, has established a tradition. It has continued to honor those students outstanding for their traits of character, scholarship, leadership and service. Initiated last year, the stamp drive, for the benefit of the missions, again proved a great suc- cess. A trunk of supplies was also shipped by the society to be of service to missionaries. A significant contribution to the school was the recently-adopted Student Tutoring Program. The club also introduced the sponsoring of a scholarship fund to be available to those taking advanced courses. A few members of the Honor Society were selected to present the October assembly on the Vatican Council. This was the first in the series of student assemblies. Each year the society strives to improve itself and to become a society of action as well as one of honor.
