64166 0 Z5 rowa in Jczowzzclge, xlaerience As a sophomore, the student enters a stage of added responsibility, increased participation, and greater maturity. Part of the added re- sponsibility rests in his new privilege of elect- ing four representatives to the Student Coun- cil. A fuller opportunity for personal expression is granted to him through increased participa- tion in school activities. In the new extracur- ricular organizations, the 260 sophomores may develop their talents and inclinations. Compulsory in the second year is the course in public speaking, an aid to those who wish to use their new opportunity for expression to the best of their ability. New duties and rights, combining to form a more mature outlook in the student, find an outlet in the Kuder Prefer- ence Test which urges the sophomore to examine his various interests. Common aims and efforts work to encour- age all sophomores in the direction of intel- lectual and spiritual fulfillment.
