we will accepl' due cfzaffenqed We are presented with the challenge of using our talents for the cause of Christ. It is largely up to the laity to further the apostolic service of the Church and to adapt its apostolate to the chang- ing Ili-:f?flS of the age. Our goal, of such great con- wfzicfz sequence, entails many distinct challenges. Whatever our state in life, We are expected to be competent leaders, ever aware of personal re- sponsibilities. With firm convictions as the foun- dation of a zealous apostolate, we, as Christians, in order to live up to our name, can never cease to be apostles. If these challenges are to be met, the laity must take it upon themselves to perfect the essen- tial qualities of true Christianity. Our considera- tion of others must be permeated with charity and mutual respect, our life with true devotion and generosity, our apostolate with zeal and persever- ance. Youth is an essential part of the laity. We, as students of Holy Cross, are presented with the many challenges of the lay a ostolate. It is only P by both recognizing and accepting these chal- lenges that We will be true Christians. .jjzaez lijgdllgggllgfed ll Chridfian. olgacleradila . . .
