We know that Louise Calhoun never does a single thing, She doesn't even fool us when she flashes that diamond ring. Margie Hayes spends lots of money and could have plenty more, Any time we want a thing she brings it from her store. Nell Stewart's hair is black as jet, she must use Kolor-bak But if you see a hair that's gray, it's all because of Jack. Luther Wolfe can get the girls, especially from Tennessee High, The secret of it all is told when you look into his eye. When Anne Peters asked How can I make passing and above? She quickly got the answer, You can't do it on love. Leona Rice is witty and is always having fun, No matter where you see her she's always chewing gum. Some boys have cover girls that hang upon their wall, Betty Glover is the girl who would hang upon them all. Now Minnie Lee is sensible and is known to have great charm, While Elizabeth Morrell is not so small and never does one harm And here we say about Glenn, just in passing by, That he's the one among many who never was girl-shy. Bruce Pickle is dependable, just like steel, When there's work to do, his shoulder's at the wheel. And a real alto singer is had in Arizona Potts, For what it takes that girl has got. Jewell Carrier is willing and wants to do her part, And when that's impossible, it almost breaks her heart. Now Clara Bains is little, as quick as any cat, Also nice and pleasant, and everything like that. Miss Jones, our grand and faithful sponsor, we leave with broken hearts We wish we could take her with us so we'd never have to part. Mr. Spahr also is nice and good to us, and he'll never be forgotten, No matter what we had to do, he would let us go a-trottin'. And for our Alma Mater, of which We're very proud, ' It will always bring us sunshine, even through the darkest cloud. We can no longer be called students as we travel o'er the land But on returning, as an alumni we will proudly stand.

CLASS PCDEM We live for those that love us, For those. that know we're true, For the heaven that shines above us, And awaits our coming, too. We're the Seniors of Holston Valley And have tried to do our best, But we know the ones who follow For the school will do the rest. Now Gloria, she's a Houser, one with zip and full of pep Always faithful, always trying, but sometimes out of step. When it comes to athletics Betty Bunn's just like a boy For the things that she believes in are the things that all enjoy. Although she's gone and left him he hopes to meet her soon, It's Wesley Carrier who misses her, especially during noon. A friend in need is a friend indeed, as that old adage tells you, So let Anna Lee know your wants when you've anything to do. A Carrier here and a Carrier there, just like the stars in the sky And Wayne never changes, not even the glint that's in his eye. Cora Vance is a wonder, she always knows what's best, She's good in all her classes and makes 100's on her test. Does Chester South want to go to college or is it College Street? Any time you pass that way, out the door stick his feet. Bonnie Phipps is little but she always gets around, And no matter where you see her she never has a frown. We have one boy in the Senior class who probably will never marry He's good in his books, they say, so he must be Gene Lowry. Jean Gray has lots of callers and all are very quiet She very seldom sees them except on Sunday night. Eugene Morrell lives on a farm and works both night and day, He feeds the chickens, milks the cows, and then he hits the hay. Mary Lynn Carrier is much in love, you can tell that by her dress, We hope her troubles are little ones that will prove a great success
