Music in just about every form is offered. In Music Appreciation one is taken back into musical history as far as the tenth century and then gradually brought to the present. Music groups such as the Boys Glee, Choir and our newly formed Madrigals, provide much enjoyment for those who like to sing. Still another enlightening class is that of speech activities which includes instruction in public speaking and debate, and participation in the National Forensics League. Our speech students have brought many honors to l-lolly- wood, Drama is also a class of which we can truly be proud, for through the doors of our school leave many students who soon become stars. To promote better understanding with other nations, for- eign languages, international relations and world affairs classes are offered to cosmopolitan l-lollywood l-ligh students. Classes dealing with science enable one to expand his thoughts as well as to produce new ideas. English instruction teaches one to think clearly and to organize ideas logically.
