Romans Rossivr Forums FRANCIS Fosns President VicefPresident SecretaryfTreasurer THE BOYS'LEAGUE The Boys' League is composed of all the boys of Hollywood high school. The purpose of the organization is to encourage interest and assist in all activities sancf tioned by Hollywood, to encourage clean habits and clean speech at all times, to work for the benefit of the organization and the best interests of Hollywood high. Its field of activity lies to a great extent in Athletics, but the greatest work of both the Girls' and Boys' leagues is in connection with the Christmas drive. Until recently the girls have carried on this work unaided by the boys, but the co-opera- tion of both during the past few years has produced most satisfactory results. One activity exclusively carried out by the League is Boys' day, which came this year the first week in May. All the departments of the school were conducted by boy managers, and each class had a boy as student teacher. This was a test which proved the capabilities of the boys as leaders of a large organization. The work of the league has been ably carried on throughout the past year by its ofiicers: Thornwell Rogers, presidentg Robert Forbes, vicefpresident: and Francis Fobes, secretaryftreasurer. XVith the assistance of Mr. Foley the boys of the school have upheld the principles upon which the league was founded. i261
