Mary Luke's spirits are high even though this is the day of freshmen initiation. 3193 fl'lQfL A A - C3 'er R H few lreshmen boys will long remember the close shave they got from some of the freshmen girls and the many honors they had to pay the sophomores. With the boys decked out in short skirts, peasant blouses, kerchiets, and bedroom slippers, and the girls in ragged jeans, bag- gy shirts, and sloppy hats, the freshmen were initiated into Holdrege Senior High School this fall. Leading the class through their first year were Carole Nauslar, president, Iill Wagner, vice-presidentg and Sharon McNeil, secre- tary. David McConahay was chosen to rep- resent their class in the Student Council. H party was held in October at the roller rink. Later, Weiners were roasted at the park.
