The H1 Y ended its twenty first year in Holdrege High withthe reputation of being one ofthe most active and successful organ izations in school Led by Bob Anderson, president Roger Erickson, vice-presidentg Dick Brown, secretary, Ronnie John- son, treasurer, Maurice Skeith, student council representativeg Jim Easter, program chairman, and Steve Schroeder, Devotions Chair- nnn, the boys practiced and taught their purpose, HTo create, main- tain, and extend throughout the school and community high standards of Christian character.U Mr. Ben Vanover was their sponsor. At the beginning of the year the club purchased a flag pole for the new Athletic Field. The boys, with the help of the custodians, set it up in time for many home football qmes. Page 38
