It was sponsored by the senior high coaches, Keifer and Bosley. The purpose of H-Club was to improve the athletic program through the promo- tion of school spirit, clean living, ideals, and scholastic standards among athletes. This easily explained how they reached their goal. To become a member of this organiza- Page 38 tion a candidate had to have one major let- ter in either football, basketball or track and had to receive at least seventy-five per cent of the votes from the active H-Club membrs. The new members who were initiated ed into the club were required to wear ov- ershoes, girls? skirts and girls' blouses backwards. At a basketball game the same night a group of new members pulled a fel- low pledge around the flor in a wagon. In order to raise money to pay for ath-
