This was a newly organized so- ciety in which each member was re quired to have 15 points in order to become a charter member The members received their points by acting in plays giving read ings serving on committees and di recting On February 16 three new members were initiated at a como cation The new members were Elaine Carlson Carol Jean Arm strong and Bruce Lynn Johnson The Thesplan Society also spon sored a one act play night under the direction of Miss Treva Lange The three plays given were Which Is The Way to Boston? Happy Journey and The Wed ding Of these Happy Journey was chosen to go to the district contest Virginia Jackson president B111 Dodson vice president and Beth eena Marshall secretary treasurer held the offices Miss Treva Lange and Miss Dorothy Larson were the sponsors The Thespian Society strove to develop skills to entertain and in fluence the public through debate and dramatic skills THESPIAN OFFICERS Bruce Lonn Johnson B111 Dodson and Pat Johnson discuss plans for the spring banquet 0 . . . l y - .
