Brewster was elected president and Mrs. Eugene Armstrong, secretary-treasurer. During a breakfast at the first of the school year the new officers were introduced. One of the projects was collecting choc olate bars to send overseas The club collect ed Butter Nut coffee labels which were ex changed for Christmas presents that were sent to the Christian Childrens Home Four children Whose names were picked by the club received presents A party was given for the H1 Y H Club FFA and GAA The evening was spent dancing and playing games. To raise money, the girls sold pencils with the basketball schedule on them. They also had concessions at football and basket- ball games.
