Huskers post victories BY ROB HELD Times Sports Writer OLDINGFORD, Minn.-The reviously unbeaten St. Mi- hael- Albertville Knights ere done in for the first time mis football season by a Hold- ngford Husker unit which is ist becoming known as the Super C'-rreen. The Huskers egistered a 12-0 victory here 'riday night to elongate their tring of whitewashes to seven nd boost their overall record J 8-0-0. Pierskalla is a strong runner with an awful lot of determination. The man behind the triumph was field general, Paul Sta- noch. The offense rolled up 263 rushing yards and only 27 pas- sing in the blowing mist. Hold- ingford had 12 first downs as compared to SM-A's seven. The defense which has only allowed a solo touchdown in the first game of the year against Upsala did not let the Knights penetrate inside their 35 yard line all night. That is quite an accom- plishment considering SM-A now stands 6-1-1 on the year. The Knights were no easy vic- tim. They were by far the toughest team We've faced all year, added Roebuck, a good physical bunch, all big and strong, and they hit real hard.
