The S.W.A.T. club raised funds to hold a banquet honoring their bosses and their spouses. Their parents were also invited. Activities in which they participated to raise funds were: a car wash, several bake sales and a S50 dollar raffle. A banquet was held on April 15th, and a hundred people attended. Mr. Manuel Hernadez, the Safeway store manager in Holbrook, was the guest speaker. They took blue ribbons in all of their events. They had various fundraisers this year such as car washes and selling Valentine 80 Cheerleaders cookies. They've held pep rallies and done skits for the student body of H.H.S. They even per- formed to Smokin' in the Boys Room with the poms at a bas- ketball half time. They made cakes St cookies for the basket- ,me 2' ball 81 football team a couple of times. The spirit here at H.H.S. is really growing. lt's great to cheer when you have enthusiastic fans helping.
