Initially, a student meeting Mrs. Crosby for the first time might be intimidated by her somewhat stern German exterior, but it would not be long until he realized that Mrs. Crosby's love reached out to everyone she came in contact with. Mrs. Crosby's influence went beyond the walls of HHS. She was known and loved at the hospital, in her Eastern Star organization, and at the Senior Citizens' Center. Her annual collection of food for the needy, her willingness to help and advice beyond school hours, her generosity, her sympathy, her tart sense of humor all will ensure that she will be loved and remembered at Holbrook High School and in the community of Holbrook. We will miss her, but Holbrook High School is a better place because she was a part of it.
