A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says: There, she's gone! Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side, and just as able to bear her load of living weight to the place of destination. I-Ier diminished size is in me, not in herg and just at the moment when someone at my side says: Ther-e! She's gone, there are other eyes watching her coming and other voices taking up the shout, Here she comes! - and such is dying. ,ooo Green Conley Richard R I-Ienling Richard A Rhine Green D1cky and Rick dled U1 the servlce of then country in Vietnam. we here highly' resolve that these dead shall not have died 1n vain that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedomgu and that government of the people 1 W 1-.nf - by the people for the people shall not perish from the Y earth. This is their last and most exciting year. They are the main driving and moving force of a high school. They set the standards and pattern in which the underclassmen will follow. They are the example. This year the seniors set a fine academic record with 2.670 of those on the honor roll were seniors. Seniors set the pace in sports, activities, and in the organizations. All in all the seniors leave H.I-I.S. with a fine record. 89 XJ J 554 J CEM-Tum! J NQELEED fx 1 , 'x J flulius Ashil2e v' X Qszl2s2.!?sss5J J 'xgwfwxma V X fFe1ix Begayj 5 91,16 gif-miw VV!
