It was in New Orleans during Mardi Gras that our band and the other Great- est bands marched in parade. Our band, reaffirmed its Great- ness, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, when we participated in the Tri- State Marching Festival and marched away with four trophies, no less! Our band was led by the Great- est, both our Drum Major, Mike Sims, and the majorette corp re- ceived superior ratings in the Mid- South Marching Festival and again in the Tri-State Marching Festival. 99
