A good yearbook strives to pre- sent every facet of school life in such a way that each student can identify with it SDHL IGH in his own unique manner. In this edition of the PACER we have tried to do this for you. The pictures on the following pages reflect you, the student body, with your moods and aspirations. No one picture will mean the same thing to everyone. Each picture will reflect a different interpretation in the light of your individual experi- ences. All of you have known moments of victory, defeat, anxiety, and accomplish- ment during the past year. Everyone has seen himself change as a result of gaining new experiences in and out of school. It is our hope that this PACER will help each of you to capture what you once were with these , . , REFLECTIONS OF 1971 Rvwwwy Pacer Staff Classes: J. Mariani, P. Bouchie, N. Perrin Business: M. The season ended into defeat to Wilton High School in the second round of tournament play after beating Goffstown in the opening round of play. The Pacers record of 12-4-0 is proof of the fine ball played all season in a very tough division. O Ramanek, and Barry Stetson filled the gaps left by last year's graduating class. The usually tough backfield combination of Ron Merton and Ted LeVasseur kept the opposition on their toes and the number of goals scored against us down. The Seniors who are leaving us this year are: John Mathewson, Ted LeVasseur, Gary Barnard, Kevin McGrath, Ron Merton, Tom Brinck, Gary Ebbing- hause, and Jim Prichard. utstanding performances by all, especially Juniors Joe Sarsfield, Jim McCormack, Mike ROW I: J. Merton, Mr. Beauregard. The basketball team, under the leadership of Coach Beauregard and Captain Ron Merton, made the 1971 season a most satisfying and productive one. The club 's record of 1'7-3 stands far superior to that of past years. This year 's fine record was made possible by good, solid, and consistent play by all. The courage and patience of Coach Beauregard finally paid off when he got some height and rebounds this year with Pete Kmet and Bob Dixon. The remarkable shooting of ,Toe Sarsfield, who averaged 23 points per game, also played a strong part in the club's success. The highlight of the season occurred when Hinsdale defeated Winchester twice in one week, climaxing a winning streak of six games in eleven days. Congratulations should go to the PACERS for their fine playing which made possible this winning season. gcwketlafl www 5 i? 3 :'!'?, K gm, 2 ROW I: M. Fecto, L. Scott, W. Gerry, K. Lavalla, T.
