Ile has been a taluable member of the basketball team this year. Next year Spring Hill College will fall heir to this popular member of our class. ARLENE ROTAN People who start to tell you something and then stop and sat it wasn't important are Arleue's pet pc-eve. Along with golt he likes any kind of sports bttt especially basketball. During last summet he worked in a plastics faftory which proved most interesting and eduta- tional to him. People who don't talk loud enough and get angry whtn you ask them to repeat are his pet peeve. lforemen's Club I. WANDA MAE SANDEEN The 'tNnmber Please" girl has had time to make the wires siule and at the satire time to make many friends here. Movie acting in an educa- tional film, a football player. and sewing things that look like Paris fashions are Wamp's favorite hobbies. Dangling prepositions are her pet peeve. JUDITH SCHAEPE Rae has been an invaluable social chairman of GAA this year. Ile: biggest thrill was modeling the Coronation gown in the style show last year, The 1953 XVashington trip was a "standout" in her memory. College and elementary teaehing are in Schcp's future. Not many will forget her winiiing ways. CAA Board 12845 CR 12341 Pep Club 12343 General As- seln J v 4. CAROLYN SCHLOSSER "Corky" came to HT from South Shore High in Chicago as a sopho- more. She is 11 social chairman of the Spanish Club, active in Ceneral Assembly, and a metnber of the three girls' clubs. Cork will long remember our l952 football victory over 1.11 Crange. Some day she would like to become an expert dancer but next. year will Gnd her studying sociology at the University of South Dakota. Winning the conference championship this fall appealed to him most for he was a tnember of the football team. '1'he two things he wants most are to own a jaguar and to become a famous lawyer like his dad. After graduation Patil will go to the University of South Dakota to study law. Football fist. MARY LOU SCHONLAU Lou is "just one of the girls." lVith her friendly ways and great sense of hutnor she has made a great impression at H'1'. She has worked hard on GR of which she is a board member, as well as on many Student Council fommiltees. This year she displayed further versatility as a Counsc-lor's Monitor. DIARTHA ROSE SCHROEDER Fond memories of life saver bombardments on the 1953 Xtlashington trip fill Nlartha's head as she tries to fit a three inch artirle into a two inch hole for High Times. "Cheat the printer" is a favorite game of Marty, this year's tio-editor. As Penny in "You Can't Take It Ntlith You," Shreds was hcckled often by jim Coughlin's reeital of the grocery list. KATHERINE ANN SCHULZ Kay's sparkling eyes and yivacious personality are new to ll'l' this year. She eame from Long Island, New York. Homecoming and the senior class play were all new to her hut she put her heart into her work. Kay plans to attend a midwestern college and major in home economics. We expect her to get the Homemaker Award in 1964. Pep Club -13 GR 43 A Cappella it. MARY SEATON Mares is the peppy. brown-eyed senior girl who always seems to be in a hurry. Au aetite board metnber of CAA, Mary has been a class ollicer three of her four years at HT, liveryone will long remember her for her sparkling personality and her outstanding performance as Iissie in the senior elass play. CAA 12343 Pep Club 12343 CR l2'l-13 Sports- manship Committee 1231. DONALD SEVERSON Don's hobbies are boating, swimming, and cars. His biggest thrill was the 1953 football game between LaGrange and Hinsdale. 1lon's most interesting job was installing applianees. His pet peeve is the three minute bell in the morning.
