Coach Halling presses for a win. Vlrest-ling tres'Iingl n. To tight by holding and attempting to throw one's opponent to the ground. that is just what HinlrIey's Wrestling team did this year. The season started oil slow, but it eventually got better because of increasing experience. Captains Mark Gehman and Russ Brown kept the team tired up before each match. Coach Malling considered them to be the most valuable wrestlers. Although the seniors will be leaving the team, there are many others to fill in the needed weights. The two teams co bined together so they would ha enough wrestlers to form a tea Despite these problems, they t they had a good year. The guys w wrestled all had good records a they felt that this year was a go learning experience. Three of t freshman placed in the freshm district: David Butts took third, Jo Tarbell and Chad Mclntire both to second. The goals for the freshmen a J. V. teams for next year are to 4- courage more people to go out . wrestling. They are also striving gain more wrestling experience ox the summer.
