J.V. BASKETBALL The Junior Varsity basketball team began with occassional highs and lows. They start- ed well, winning several games at the begin- ning of the season, but fell to a seven game losing streak. That, however, did not stop the team. They bounced back and improved greatly as the season continued. Overall, the team made tremendous pro- gress learning many skills and gaining much confidence. The players gained a great deal of depth which should lead to a good season next year. 'QW-. J. V. players get psyched before the game. The A team consisted of Terrance Hutchings, Michael johnson, Richard ag jason McBride, Yusuf Paige, Mke Paul, james Payne, Scott Stampka. The B team players were Tony Cade, Clanton, Reggie Colbert, Roger Fleury, Bill josteig Paxton Gamer, Mark Redleg Mike Rose, Gentry Walker. All :layers showed exceptional progress and improvement during the season. If the teams continue to work hard, ears teams should show great potential. ALL With enthusiasm and effort, this year's Sophomore Basketball Team played with great initiative. Despite losing several sophomores to the l.V. and Varsity teams, the sophomore team was competitive in every game and played with a lot of enthusiasm and aggressiveness. The teams record ol I and 12 did not reflect the type ol basketball the team played. The sophomore boys played hard and should continue to improve next season. I I I 1+ bn-?7-ofebar il O iii!
